Since our last newsletter edition in September 2021, we have seen wonderful developments for the center and for our activities and programs. We welcomed Jennifer Selin as our new co-director of the Levin Center’s Washington, D.C. office, launched our new website, and released our first-ever annual report. We held congressional and state level oversight workshops and even trained the EU Parliament’s Washington, D.C. Liaison Office.
We were honored to host Deputy Secretary of Defense Dr. Kathleen Hicks at Wayne Law in November and were pleased to give the Carl Levin Award for Effective Oversight to a remarkable Oregon state senator and the Levin Center Award for Excellence in Oversight Research to two Vanderbilt law professors.
